Basic:

• Tests for 18 basic elements in oil sample that indicate likely abnormal engine wear.
• Tests for glycol, water, and fuel in oil sample, likely indicators of leaks or mechanical failure.

Viscosity:

• Tests oil density/thickness which impacts oil pressure.

TBN:

• Total Base Number (TBN) indicates how much detergent remains in the engine oil and, as a result, how often an oil change is necessary.

TAN:

• Total Acid Number (TAN) indicates the level of acidity in hydraulic fluids and/or gear oils. High acid levels lead to engine corrosion
