COASTAL Blending & Packaging and Recochem, Inc. announce long term strategic partnership agreement

Saint John, NB-February 2, 2010 – COASTAL Blending & Packaging has entered into a long term agreement with Recochem, Inc. for exclusive production, packaging, and distribution of automotive windshield washer fluid and Anti-Freeze products throughout eastern Canada and New England.

As part of the agreement, COASTAL Blending & Packaging will divest of sales and marketing of their Irving and Cobra branded windshield washer and automotive anti-freeze products in exchange for a significant commitment of production throughput in the Saint John, New Brunswick facility. Coastal Blending & Packaging will continue to invest in the Irving and Cobra lubricants product portfolio as key contributors to Coastal Blending & Packaging’s ongoing success.

COASTAL Blending & Packaging and Recochem have been working together to serve customers in Atlantic Canada for the past ten years and this new agreement strengthens the existing relationship, enhances supply chain efficiencies, and provides increased focus to each of our respective core competencies. COASTAL Blending & Packaging’s primary expertise is in the blending and packaging, marketing, and sales of lubricants, other petroleum based products, and specialty chemicals. Recochem is a market and industry leader in development, production and marketing of consumer and commercial chemical products marketed under the Turbo Power®, STP®, and Rain-X® brand names.
